AWESOME! That explains it all, the AEM intake works great. The intake was very easy to install, it only took about a half hour. Definetly noticed a little power gain, throttle responsiveness, and better acceleration. I've had it for about 2 months now and haven't had any porblems at all. It's everything I expected, and love that awesome intake noise when I hit high rpm. It's a really good product and worth every penny if your just looking for a quick bolt-on with awesome results. I installed a Short ram AEM intake on my 06 Sentra Se-R Spec V today and got pretty impressed by the results. Verry noticeable increase in performance and it sounds REALLY REALLY nice... Not to mention it fits great and looks even better. A 10 in my book.

Intake took no effort at all to install. Very detailed instructions, yet deemed unnecessary because it was pretty much self explanatory. I definately noticed a dramatic difference in how my engine responded to the increase air flow. The acceleration is smoother, and it makes this sexy purring noise when floored!

The part was the exact part as ordered. Once installed it worked very well. The only downfall was the instaliation manual was not detailed enough.

Overall this is a great intake. I didnt feel too much of a bump because i had installed my headers and exhaust first. But hell it works. Better gas mileage and im sure a few HP too. It was a little trouble installing, but this was my first intake to istall. Just taking off and reconnecting a bunch of hoses really. But hey better MPG + more HP, what can you complain about?

Got the intake the other day and took about an hour and a half to install. The fitment wasnt perfect and the recirculation valve doesnt line up right (doesnt matter though seeing as you can cap it anyways). Basically had to remove the resonator for it to fit with meant removing the front bumper completely. Also in the instructions it mentions things like "removing a gallon of coolant" which is totally un-necessary. Not to mention its a pretty snug fit under the hood, make sure its not rubbing anything. The performance is what really earned this product a 9 in my book. The intake feels like stock til about 3k rpm, where you begin to feel a bit of gain. After 4k rpm is when it really kicks in! I run from 4k-6.5k about twice as fast as I did when I was stock. The growl is amazing and when you rev it up....gives me shivers thinking about it. I would strongly recomend this product to anyone looking for a relatively cheep performance enhancement. I would buy it again in a heart-beat!

My intake installed pretty easily although there was one clearance problem that took a little of the red coating off the piping. Power increase was great, right above 3000rpm I could feel it really pull. Engine sounds very nice, between hearing my 240's KA-T coming up the road, then hearing the full Apex exhaust fly by, I couldn't ask for more. Thanks a bunch HorsepowerFreaks!!!

This intake system was a smooth installation, at higher RPM levels, it makes a very nice growl. It sound aggressive, I noticed an increase in low-end torque in my 5gen. Prelude. Overall, a great product, but it isn't a CAI or anything like that.

Instructions were missing a page, the instructions that did come with it were miss printed (Text/Pictures all overlaped each other). It looks really nice, except they made it where the radiator cap scrapes off the nearby paint when it is removed. Other than that I am completely satisfied.

I've been consistently impressed with my AEM Short Ram Intake. Installation was relatively simple, although attention to detail was important. Installed on a 2.3L VTEC motor, power gains were immediately perceptible, but only when the VTEC system engaged. However, I expected this as the car is an automatic and the high RPMS at which underhood intakes shine aren't doable without a manual tranny. The induction sound is intense inside and outside the car. This is something to consider if you're looking for a quiet ride. The synergystic gains in torque I got with this intake and DC Sports headers were impressive. Its a good combo.

The AEM intake system performs really well under high rpm and it was a perfect bolt part for my girlfriend's Honda Prelude. Defenitely one of the best out there and the quality is superior.

AEM Short Ram Intake did what it said it would! Noticed the HP gain, and the Sweet Sound! Took about 30 Minutes to Install. One of the Best Mods out there for the money!

CAI - cold air intake только: Injen/AEM/Fujita;
SRI - short ram intake - калл - причем будет хуже стока - heatsoak сцуко все поламает и ничего не поможет.

Insane, на счет ECU и т.п екушка екушке рознь. ты о каком моторе говориш? какие мозги? насколько температуру впуска занизил что кукушка дупля не дала что случилось? обьясни пожалуйста.

Уже слава богу семь лет прошло,все технологии поменялись двадцать раз.
По поводу шорт рема ты тоже заблуждаешся,нельзя связывать замеры(как для тюнинга,то уже полвековой давности) на одном авто,по отношению к другим ,хоть даже и одной модели.
Поверь, все моторы разные и ведут себя по разному.
А за диноран Я вообще лучше промолчу.
Кроме температуры воздуха есть еще много влияющих факоров на получение КПД от той или иной системы,а это абсолютное давление воздуха,качество топлива,качество масла,свечи и т.д. и т.п.

super_tuning, а что имменно поменялось в 2007м? материал? диностенд? аеротруба? шот рам по дизайну и идеи не может быть лутче колда.. понятно что если удасться минимизировать влияние тепла от двигла - то рез будет сопоставим с каи. у рсх - эта проблема не решаеццо. так моих 25 центов. у каждого своя правда. если у тебя есть более свежые и детальные dyno sheets - буду рад посмотреть
